Intimacy Coordinators are trained specifically to work within camera based media and within the US Model with SAG/AFTRA Standards. IPEC is an accredited education company by SAG/AFTRA

Courses for
Intimacy Direction

Intimacy Directors are trained to work for live and staged works. These are experts in creating spaces of creativity and consent for rehearsals and be a part of the discussion on how the culture of the show can run.


There are not currently ID standards within Actor's Equity.

Effective and safe teach methods are not inherent and it's important as educators that we are trained in how to communicate and educate when it comes to staged intimacy.

  • Pre-recorded lectures, virtual one-on-one mentorship, and virtual labs for simulations to put what you are learning into practice. 



  • Classes may be purchased individually, or learners are welcome to take our courses 1-5. Prior staged intimacy training? Your past experience may apply towards your accreditation.


  • After an initial evaluation, you may be asked to do labs to show how you take your past experience and apply as an IC, ID, or IE.


  • You get to choose your own adventure, we're here to help you on your path.
